Several live and pre-recorded presentations and performances by professional teachers and musicians, and students during the conference will feature diverse topics and formats on both days of the conference. The Guest Artist Recital, the Comissioned Composer's Recital, and the New Faculty Recital will be presented on Zoom on Friday.
The Gold Medal Winners Recitals and the Pre-College Concerto Competitions will be presented on YouTube Premier on Saturday. A virtual master Class by our Conference Clinician with three MMTA pre-college students will be held on Zoom on Saturday.

Our 2007 Conference, held November 1-3, included the usual plethora of MTNA competitions and master classes in piano, brass, chamber music, voice, guitar, and strings. The opening night of our conference, the music faculty of USM presented a "Faculty Showcase" recital followed by a special reception.
2006
The 2006 conference was held at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. Guest artists included the Fischer Duo, Lynn Rice-See, Nancy Weems, Weekley & Arganbright, and Maurice Hinson. John Wesley Wright, tenor, accompanied by Theresa Sanchez, performed the conference recital. John Paul, Rachel Heard, Biljac Burnside, Michael Rushing/Annette Joe, and Barbara Tracy provided additional lectures and recitals.
2005
The 2005 MMTA State Conference and Competitions were held November 3-5 at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. Guest artists and clinicians included Brian Holland, Burt Levy, Roy Wylie, and the Ceruti String Quartet.
